Samsung Galaxy S21: Leak reveals almost all technical data

A few weeks ago reported we have the first information and pictures for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S21 series. A few days later, the first details emerged IDEA and now almost all technical data has been leaked. We have summarized them for you in the following lines.

The information was obtained from the well-known leaker Max Weinbach, who so far has proven to be quite trustworthy Android Police disclosed. So you can assume that there are real leaks here.

Samsung Galaxy S21 and S21 +

The Galaxy S21 and S21 + are said to be different in comparison to their respective Predecessors not doing much, at least not on paper. The display should measure 6,2 inches on the small model and 6,7 inches on the larger plus model. According to rumors, both are AMOLED displays, which have FHD + resolution and support a fluid refresh rate of 120 Hertz.

Under the hood it should be different again next year Progive cessors. We in Europe will most likely get the new, better Exynos 2100, while the rest of the markets will see the forthcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 875. There is no information about RAM and internal storage at this time.

One UI version 3.1, based on Android 11, will be used as software. The models differ significantly in terms of battery capacity. While the Galaxy S21 with 4.000 mAh will not get an upgrade compared to its previous year's model, according to current information, the battery in the larger Plus model will grow to up to 4.800 mAh. That sounds pretty promising, let's just hope that the upcoming Exynos will be a lot more efficient than the years before.

The cameras should, at least on paper, be the same as the current S-series devices. Samsung is to install a triple camera, which is set up as follows: 12 megapixel main camera, 12 megapixel ultra wide-angle camera and a 64 megapixel telecamera. There is currently no information about the aperture.

The S21 should have 4 colors to choose from: white, gray, pink and purple. The S21 +, on the other hand, should only be available in the colors silver, black and also in purple.

Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra

The Galaxy S21 Ultra is said to have an even slightly larger display with 6,8 inches, which also has a slightly sharper resolution with WQHD +. According to Weinbach, there are no differences in the refresh rate.

As a ProThe Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 or the Exynos 2100 should also be installed here. There shouldn't be any differences in the software and the battery is only slightly larger at 5.000 mAh than in the S21+.

The biggest difference is found in the cameras. A total of 4 sensors are to be installed here, including a 108 megapixel main camera, a 12 megapixel ultra wide-angle camera and 2 telecameras with 10 megapixels each. With the first a 3x optical zoom and with the second even a 10x optical zoom should be possible. So very similar to the Huawei P40 Pro+. Videos should be able to be recorded with all cameras in 4K with up to 60 FPS and 8K videos in 30 FPS are also not possible with the main camera Probe trouble

The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra should only be available in black and silver.
