In addition to the new Galaxy S10 range Samsung also unveiled a sports smartwatch today. In this article there are first pictures and all the details.
Every year Samsung introduces smartphones as well as smartwatches. As already known a new sports smartwatch called the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active was unveiled today. The smartwatch clearly specializes in athletes. The case measures just 40 millimeters and is 10,5 millimeters flat. Tizen OS is used as software.

Samsung Galaxy Watch Active: All Specs
The display of the Galaxy Watch Active is 1,1 inches and has an OLED resolution (360 x 360 pixels). At the Prozessor is based on an in-house Exynos 9110, precise information on the main memory is not yet available. The battery is 230 mAh and can be charged in a charging case on the back of the smartwatch. Under the hood there is also GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC and a pulse sensor. In addition, according to IP68 certification, it is also suitable for swimming.

Unfortunately, Google Pay is not possible due to Tizen OS. Samsung Pay is unfortunately still not available in Germany and Austria.
Samsung Galaxy Watch Active: pricing and availability
The athlete smartwatch costs 239 euros. The first models will be delivered from March 15th, pre-orders can be made this evening or tomorrow at the latest. The Galaxy Watch Active is available in black, silver, rose and green as well as with different bracelets. For pre-orderers, there is a new power bank with wireless Qi charging at no extra charge.
