Specter: New camera app released in the App Store
Some of you may be familiar with the Halide camera app. The same developers have now published their latest work in the App Store, which is called Specter.
Halide brought one Pro-Mode for the camera on the iPhones. The second app from the two developers, Spectre, is something like an add-on for Halide, with which you can create long-exposure images. For those who don't know what that is exactly: In the case of long-term exposures, movements are blurred in the result. Impressive examples can be seen in the marketing video I embedded above. A big part of the app are AI features that enhance the photos. This includes, among other things, an indicator that provides information about how stable you are holding the Apple smartphone. From the iPhone 8 proSpecter also fits Apple's Neural Engine to stabilize snapshots even better. You can download Specter here:
