Spotify Family: Some new features on the way
The Spotify Family subscription is very popular, but it hasn't seen any major changes lately. That is changing now, as some new features are on the way.
The provider is currently testing the new Spotify Family in Ireland. The worldwide rollout should then take place in autumn. Existing customers are informed via email as soon as they can access the new functions. But what new features can subscribers look forward to?
Spotify Family gets content filter, family playlist and "Family Hub"
The first innovation is a content filter that parents can access. This allows them to block content that their own children are not allowed to consume. Second, a "Family Hub" is to come with the major update. This is intended to further simplify the administration of the subscription. Third, we can expect a “Family Mix” playlist. This is a place where the whole family's favorite music ends up. This is also updated regularly.
Again: Spotify starts with the worldwide distribution of the new functions in autumn. Maybe even if that Family subscription could be more expensive?
