WhatsApp: deletion function for messages in planning
Message accidentally sent to the wrong contact? This shouldn't be in the future Problem show more. In the current WhatsApp beta there is a function for retrieving sent messages.
And then it happened. Accidentally sent an embarrassing picture or message to the wrong contact. So far it was not possible to completely delete a message for both of them after sending it. Currently, the message only disappears from itself when you delete it. There is now a practical function in the new WhatsApp beta for iOS. This allows the user to retrieve a sent message afterwards.
However, deletion is only possible for a short time
As WABetaInfo reports on Twitter, however, there is little time to delete a message. After sending, the time is ticking and the user only has a maximum of five minutes to change his mind. The message then remains in the chat and cannot be deleted for everyone by tapping "Unsend". However, the action does not go unnoticed: the contact sees through a message that this message has been removed.
The revoke feature (called now "unsend") should be available very soon, but probably we should wait for the next iOS official update before.

However, it could still take a while for the update to roll out. "You should wait for the next official iOS update," said WaBetaInfo on Twitter. There are no indications of this feature for Android yet. This should also reach beta users for Android shortly. It could take a few more weeks for the update to reach the masses.
Very practical, hopefully this will come to my iphone soon. I'm curious.
Hello Oliver!
I'm also looking forward to seeing the feature reach my WhatsApp soon. I'm in beta, but so far no update for this function has been released on Android.
