Windows 10: Update KB3200970 and KB3198586 released

The Windows 10 updates KB3200970 and KB3198586 were released yesterday morning and bring some enhancements.

The two updates focus on quality improvements and security patches. Two different updates are published here, which should refresh and increase the system.

Windows 10 Update KB3200970

All Windows 10 PCs that have Anniversary installed received an update yesterday. This update brings Windows 10 to the latest version and also to build 14393.447. There have been many improvements and, most importantly, security patches. That is new:

  • Better Remote Desktop, Internet Explorer 11, and Multimedia Car reliability
  • Task Planner is now working smoothly and reliably again
  • Japanese characters become sans again Proproblems displayed
  • Chargeable WiFi connections are no longer disconnected before the payment process has been completed
  • WLAN symbol shows correct information again
  • Updates to the Access Point Name database are working again

Windows 10 Update KB3198586

KB3198586 has also been released for users who do not have Anniversary installed. The update brings Windows 10 to version 1511 to build 10586.679. All changes from KB3200970 have been added here, as well as additional changes. That's them:

  • Access to the Windows Store despite Proxy possible
  • Reconnect to the network if the connection is lost
  • Windows software updates should no longer fail when using a Proxy is worked.
