Xiaomi Watch S1 and S1 Active presented: GPS, Alexa, NFC and more

Xiaomi presented the Xiaomi Watch S1 and S1 Active on today's launch day. The two smartwatches bring some functions that are otherwise only known from Wear OS watches.
Along with some other gadgets, the Chinese company unveiled two new smartwatches today. Functionally, the watches do not differ, it is more about equipment things that are different depending on the variant. The nobler watch of the two is clearly the "normal" S1.
Xiaomi Watch S1 (Active): Sporty, enduring, communicative
The Xiaomi Watch S1 Active in particular is intended to be the watch for sporty users, but the standard S1 also has the same fitness features. Both come with a 1,43-inch AMOLED HD display, with the S1 getting a stainless steel frame and sapphire glass, while the S1 Active has to make do with a plastic frame. Speaking of quality, the S1 comes with a leather and vinyl strap (both included), while the Active variant only comes with a TPU/silicone strap.

The S1 measures 46,5 x 46,5 x 10,9 mm and weighs 52 grams (without the bracelet). In contrast, the S1 Active weighs 36,3 grams and measures 46,5 x 47,3 x 11 millimeters. From now on we continue with exactly the same technical equipment:

Prices and availability
The Xiaomi Watch S1 is available now at a price of 229 euros (RRP), while the Watch S1 Active will cost 179 euros (RRP). Until March 31, the first customers will also receive a free Mi Body Composition Scale 2 worth 29,99 euros (RRP) on top of the purchase. The watches can be bought in the Xiaomi online store and soon in stores.
