OnePlus Nord N100 review: unboxing and first impression
At the end of October, OnePlus introduced the OnePlus Nord N100 for 199 euros, among other things, and since then the device has been rather quiet. We want to change that with this article.
In the following lines I unpack the Nord N100 and get a first impression after a few days of use. A detailed review here TechnikNews will of course also follow in the next few weeks.

OnePlus Nord N100 unboxing
As is typical for OnePlus, the box makes an extremely high-quality impression and also looks very chic. It is black and on the front is the manufacturer's logo and lettering N100 pictured. In addition to the smartphone itself, you will of course also find the usual paperwork, a SIM needle for the dual SIM slot, a power supply unit with which the OnePlus Nord N100 can be charged with up to 18 watts and the associated USB-C Cable. Unfortunately, there is no case to protect the smartphone and the manufacturer does not have headphones, even though it has a 3,5 mm jack.
OnePlus Nord N100 in the first impression
What is my first impression after a few days of use? Well, I like the design and feel very much. It's great in the hand and easy to use. In addition, the OnePlus Nord N100 doesn't feel that bad, even though the manufacturer uses plastic. But this one is matt and therefore feels much higher quality and simply better. It is also less prone to fingerprints than one Little X3 NFC, which is located in a similar price range.
I was a bit worried about the performance, because only a Qualcomm Snapdragon 490 works inside. So it's a bit older Processor and you notice that in everyday life. There are often stutters and delays. The smartphone is already reaching its limits here and there and I'm just worried about future security. That's a thing with the display. On the one hand I would like to praise OnePlus for the smooth refresh rate of 90 Hertz, but on the other hand the HD+ resolution is really borderline, even for 200 euros.
So far, I really liked the battery life and the built-in stereo speakers, which sound surprisingly good. For this price I would never have expected that, big praise OnePlus. I'll have to take a closer look at the quality of the camera in the next few days, but on paper I definitely miss an ultra-wide-angle camera.
I think it became clear that the OnePlus Nord N100 couldn't really convince me after a few days of use. Sure, you always have to keep the price of 200 euros in the back of your mind, but there are also some smartphones that have a little more to offer. The best example of this is the Xiaomi Poco X3 NFC or the new Poco M3. Of course, I will still give the N100 a fair chance and a detailed review will follow here soon TechnikNews.
