2021, a year that, after the very different 2020, showed us that things can get even more turbulent. A year that we especially like here at TechnikNews has shown that more is possible. What the coming year will bring, along with the highlights from another 365 days TechnikNews.

Admittedly, in the founding year 2015, I would not have believed that I would still be sitting here after six years. TechnikNews continues to be so much fun. Especially with this great team, which has grown by four more people in the past year. With this great team, which doesn't let me down even when it comes to difficult decisions and full of vigour Project TechnikNews lives. Generally one would never have thought TechnikNews to be known all over the world.

Your and our highlights

This year almost 800 new articles appeared, in which you spent a total of 16.666 hours reading. We also broke new tracks and something like that Youtube channel started, together with its own podcast format, the TechniqueCast. We also have ours English variant of TechnikNews launched in order to reach an international audience with our content. Unfortunately, we were also able to set a new record for the use of ad blockers this year. More and more users are calling us with an active ad blocker. Advertising bothers us too, but it is our only source of income. We will not hide our content in front of a paywall in the coming year either, but we are counting on yours Support.

These articles were your top contributions in 2021:

Pick up and move on

It's not always easy. After a strenuous day at work or at school, you still want to create this one test report, plan a new one for the team, and do this one important update to the infrastructure. The resulting low levels of motivation are, often, part of all of us here. Nevertheless, we always managed to get up, pull ourselves up, motivate each other to keep going. Most of this teams does it here next to school, everyone does this on the side. It cannot be taken for granted. This isn't a job, this isn't a 9 to 5 thing - no, it's a hobby. Driven solely by the interest in the technology, the great team with many common ideas and experiences.

Where do you travel?

Next year, some of us will be celebrating our second round birthday, taking our high school diploma, graduating from high school. As a small child with the school cone in hand and now – grown up? With my then 12 years to start this Project I had absolutely no plan what to do with TechnikNews will happen in a few years, no idea what I'm doing here. The only goal was to tell the world something - in the form of a blog. Now that we are all heading for professional life or becoming students and have less time than in school - how should that work in the future?

Thoughts that you have to make, that are not easy, that will make me wonder. One of the things that will surely challenge me in 2022. But what you can forget on the path to growing up is to maintain your spontaneity, not to think through everything and not to worry about everything. We often just think too much about everything. Our own signposts will guide us through our lives anyway.

To an even better 2022!

And it will be the same with TechnikNews being. It will go on, anyway, whether for more years on the side, at some point full-time - who knows? None So we stop looking that far ahead and instead make the most of the moment. With these words I can now release you into the coming year: I wish you all the best for 2022. Should all your dreams and wishes come true. We will continue to accompany you on this journey - in the form of reporting and other cool things that we will implement in the next 12 months.

Without this team, without you - friends, colleagues, readers, supporters, partners and everyone TechnikNews'to learn - if none of this were possible here. You are all part of the team TechnikNews. Thanks alot! We continue to count on you and do our best, versprochen. Thank you that we can also be a part of you in 2022. So what are we waiting for?

as I posted here with you last year:
If the old year was successful, look forward to the new one. And if it was bad, then even more so.
