Acer presented a successor to its Swift 2020 notebook at CES 3. As TechnikNews has already found out, Acer is also working on a successor to its Swift 7. All information about the new Acer Swift 7 2020 at a glance.
The new Swift 7 should appear at the end of this year or at the beginning of next year. It should keep its 14-inch touch display but upgrade from Full HD to 4K. The current Prototyp has an i7 Pro10th generation processor – this will most likely be on sale on the new “Tiger Lake” Pro11th generation cessors can be upgraded. Of the ProLike the 2019 version, totyp is equipped with 16 GB RAM - as long as nothing special happens, it will probably not be changed anymore.

Acer Swift 7 2020: Light as a feather
The "old" Swift 7 was very light for a notebook with its weight of 890 grams. The 2020/21 version should go one better. The new notebook should weigh between 700 and 800 grams and it should also be thin. That would make it one of the lightest and thinnest on the market again.
The battery should still last between 12 and 13 hours. In addition, the laptop should support "fast charging", which was one of the criticisms of the 2019 version. We don't yet have any details on the price of the notebook, but we are again assuming 2000 euros as with the 2019 version.
Acer seems to have recognized the biggest criticisms of the 2019 version and improved them: A new camera position, fast charging, even lighter and more power.
