Samsung Galaxy S21 and S21 + officially presented

On today Samsung Unpacked Samsung has conjured up three new Galaxy smartphones out of its hat. This article is about the cheaper two Galaxy S21 models - the S21 and S21 +.
What die-hard fans have already noticed: There was no foldable smartphone at this event. That Galaxy z flip was announced last year with the S20 series, a successor will not come until March or April.
Like all S21 models, the S21 / + will appear out of the box with Android One UI 3.1 based on Android 11 and the Exynos 2100 in America, Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 888 is used.
Regarding the display: This is the same for both cheaper S21 versions, only the size is different. The S21 has a 6,2-inch display and the plus version 6,7 inches. Both have a maximum resolution of Full HD + with 120Hz OLED and the display glass is the latest from Corning Gorilla Glass 7 Notes 20 Ultra. The Galaxy S21, however, will have a plastic back, the Plus model from the aforementioned Gorilla Glass 7.

Samsung Galaxy S21 and S21 +: storage, cameras and availability
Both the S21 and the S21 + come with 8 GB of RAM in terms of storage options. This with 128 GB or 256 GB fast UFS 3.1 storage. Just like the same camera sensors. The three new cameras on the back are this time rounded at the edge of the device and thus merge into the frame. A 64 MP telephoto lens with OIS is used as the main camera. A 4.000 mAh battery is used as the battery in the standard model, while the battery in the plus model is considerably larger at 4.800 mAh. Both are IP-68 waterproof and the S21 + model still has a micro-SD card slot, but the standard model no longer.
The S21 will be available from 849 euros - pre-orderers will get the Galaxy Buds Live together with a Galaxy Smart Tag with a (RRP) value of approx. 200 euros. The S21 will be available in white, pink, and purple when it launches on January 29th, and there is still a gray version in the Samsung online store. The Plus model costs at least 1049 euros and will be available in silver, black and purple, while gold and red are still available in the online store.
