Samsung Galaxy Z Flip officially launched
The Samsung Galaxy fold was probably the surprise on the Galaxy Unpacked im last february. Samsung had already shown a little teaser for the Z Flip at the last SDC, and they even have one during the Oscars whole trailer shown for the foldable. Now the clamshell foldable has been launched at Unpacked 2020.

Design
Like the Motorola Razr, the Galaxy Z Flip can be opened and closed like a "folding mirror". This makes the 6,7 inch display, which (unlike the Galaxy Fold) is made of "Ultra Thin Glass". This should be much more robust compared to the plastic from the fold. The design should be particularly interesting for selfies, video telephony and "vlogging".
Specifications
The inside of the Galaxy Z Flip is a bit different from the Galaxy S20 devices. Here are the main differences:
- The Galaxy Z Flip also has the Snapdragon in Europe Proprocessor (855+). This is not the newest, this is likely due to development time. The S20 devices in the USA etc. have the new 865.
- The Galaxy Z Flip comes with 8 GB of RAM, but with 256 GB of storage.
- The Galaxy Z Flip comes with two colors of its own. "Black mirror and purple mirror".
- The Galaxy Z Flip only has two main cameras, 12 MP wide angle and 12 MP ultra wide angle.
