Google has officially announced the Pixel 10a with a short video teaser. The 15-second clip from "Made by Google" focuses primarily on the design changes: The prominent camera bar of its predecessors has been replaced by a nearly flush-mounted system. While the hardware appears largely familiar, the slogan "A phone with more in store" promises new software features.

The design of the Pixel 10a is almost identical to that of the Pixel 9a. The most striking feature remains the rear camera system, which, like its predecessor, sits completely flat in the housing. instead of the distinctive "visor" protrusion of the other Pixel 10 series Pixel series. The dual camera setup is flush with the back, What a clean one! It ensures a uniform appearance. Since the hardware specifications hardly improve compared to the Pixel 9a, the focus of the "10a" is primarily on new AI features and expanded SDKs for integrating Gemini, in order to generate added value via the software layer.
