Porsche Taycan Turbo GT officially presented
This week Porsche unveiled the Porsche Taycan Turbo GT and the Taycan Turbo GT with Weissach package. The latter has already set lap records at the Nürburgring and Laguna Seca.
Externally, the Taycan Turbo GT hardly differs at all from other Taycan models. What's exciting is what happens inside the vehicle. The maximum output of this is 760 kilowatts (1034 hp) with overboost in launch control. Normally it is 580 kilowatts or 789 hp. With Launch Control, the Taycan Turbo GT accelerates from 0 to 100 kilometers pro hour in just 2,3 seconds. The car needs to be recharged after 528 to 554 kilometers according to the WLTP standard.
For even more performance, Porsche integrated “Attack Mode”. This gives you additional power of up to 120 kilowatts at the push of a button. This is available for 10 seconds.
