Attention railway fans: Railroads Online is now available in stores as a physical Pioneer Edition for the PlayStation 5 and, in addition to the main game, includes exclusive bonus content for an even more enhanced gaming experience.
After the successful digital release in December, the sandbox railway simulator Railroads Online is now also available as physical Pioneer Edition for the PlayStation 5 in retail available. Publisher astragon Entertainment and developer Stefan Kelnberger are bringing not only the main game but also exclusive additional content to the market with this edition.

The Pioneer Edition not only offers the main game, but also the Pioneer DLC with the following bonus content:
- Bell's Gap 0-6-0 locomotive – A historic steam locomotive for your routes.
- “Red Mountain” Depot – A placeable station building for your railway world.
- Montezuma Special Skin – An exclusive design for the iconic Montezuma locomotive.

In Railroads Online you build your own railway network in a vast open game world. You lay tracks, switches and stations to transport various goods and organize rail traffic efficiently.
The simulation relies on a particularly authentic gaming experience, which is supported by the advanced physics systems of the Unreal Engine 5. Every vehicle, every wagon and every obstacle in the game follows realistic physical laws, whereby collisions and driving behavior are calculated dynamically in real time.
Railroads Online places particular emphasis on the co-op experience: with up to 16 players, you can work together to build a complex railway infrastructure, control locomotives and transport goods.
