Samsung [Company name] announces a significant expansion of its premium TV range based on Micro-RGB technology for 2026. Following the debut of a 115-inch model in 2025, the new lineup will cover screen diagonals from 55 to 115 inches – thus appealing to both large living rooms and sophisticated, space-conscious setups.
According to Samsung, the company is responding to the growing demand for higher image quality, which is now the most important factor for many buyers. Plot for an upgrade to a premium model. New TVs in 55, 65, 75, 85, 100 and 115 inch sizes are planned for 2026 – whether all variants will be available in Germany and Austria remains to be seen.
Micro RGB: Focus on color, precision and intelligence
At the heart of the new TVs remains Micro-RGB technology, in which extremely small red, green, and blue LEDs (under 100 micrometers) are self-illuminating. This allows for particularly precise control of light and color. This is complemented by advanced image processing such as "4K AI Upscaling Pro" and "AI Motion Enhancer Pro," which sharpen content and smooth motion in real time – depending on the specific model.
A key upgrade for 2026 is the "Micro RGB AI Engine Pro." This new AI chip analyzes the image frame by frame and dynamically optimizes details, contrast, and color. With features like "Micro RGB Color Booster" and "Micro RGB HDR Pro," Samsung claims the picture will appear particularly lifelike.
100% BT.2020 and fewer reflections
With "Micro RGB Precision Color 100," Samsung promises complete coverage of the BT.2020 color space – certified by the testing service provider VDE. The result is said to be extremely saturated, yet natural colors and high brightness. Additionally, Samsung's Glare-Free technology is used, which reduces distracting reflections and thus preserves contrast even in challenging lighting conditions.

Vision AI, Bixby and new audio features
Samsung is also upgrading its software. The further developed "Vision AI Companion" combines AI functions with natural voice control via Bixby. This includes conversational search, interactive questions and answers, and AI-powered features such as live translation and generative wallpapers.
For audio, the 2026 models feature Dolby Atmos, Adaptive Sound Pro, and Q-Symphony, which synchronizes the TV speakers with compatible Samsung soundbars. Also new to all 2026 Samsung TVs is Eclipsa Audio, a 3D sound system for an even more immersive sound experience.
Premiere planned for CES 2026
The new Micro-RGB portfolio will be publicly unveiled for the first time right now – at CES 2026, which takes place every year in early January – in Las Vegas. Samsung intends to demonstrate there how its ultra-premium display technology can be scaled across different sizes – with the goal of establishing Micro RGB as the new benchmark in the high-end TV segment.
