Android 10 for Samsung: Update timetable known
After a beta phase, Samsung is ready to finally distribute Android 10. An update schedule has been published.
Last year, Samsung started distributing Android 9 Pie around the same time. At that time it was so quick that the plans were sometimes brought forward. An update plan for the latest Android version is now available.
Android 10: These Samsung smartphones are getting it
The first models from Samsung will get Android 10 in January 2020. These include all S10 and Note10 versions, as well as all S and Note devices from last year. In March, the manufacturer only supplies the Galaxy A80. Most A smartphones, the Galaxy Fold and the Tab S6 will continue in April. The remaining tablets will then receive the update between July and September.
It is often the case that updates do not appear immediately in the system settings. The following applies here: just wait a bit, manufacturers are always rolling out updates in stages.
