Apple iMac 27 “(2020) announced: But another Intel Mac

Today Apple presented the iMac 27 “(2020). This is an update for the existing model. Above all, that means: more performance.

The looks of the updated iMac have not changed. It still looks like the previous models. A new design is likely to come with an iMac Apple silicon, which Apple presented at WWDC 2020, are coming. The display itself has not changed either, it still has a resolution of 5K. Only the coating of this is new, we are dealing with a so-called nanotexture here. Also new is the fact that the webcam is now capable of 1080p.

As we know from Apple with such upgrades, the most has happened on the inside. There are now only SSDs by default, which have a data speed of up to 3,4 gigabytes pro allow second. The maximum memory size is eight terabytes.

For sufficient performance there is IntelProtenth generation processors with up to 10 cores. You also get the latest AMD RadeonPro-Graphics cards. The maximum amount of RAM is 128 gigabytes. With this package there is a performance increase of 65 in some applications Procent.

Prices and availability

The prices of the new iMac 27 “(2020) start at 2.099 euros. The computer will be available in Apple stores and authorized dealers starting this week. Orders will be delivered during the coming week.
