At present, it is still necessary to wear masks in public places. Now Apple is lifting the mask requirement in stores and offices for vaccinated people, starting in the USA.

If you've been to an Apple Store since the outbreak of the coronavirus, you will know that the regulations are quite strict. Keeping your distance and wearing a mask was previously mandatory anyway and only a certain number of people were allowed onto the shop floor. For a long time, body temperature was also measured in front of the branches.

Now the group is planning to relax the mask requirement, how to notify employees via a memo. The requirement: the customer must have a valid vaccination.

Apple stores without a mask requirement: For the time being only in the USA

In addition to the stores, some offices in Cupertino are also affected by this change. For the time being, the new regulation will only come into force in the US this week, although it can be assumed that the whole thing will be extended to other countries as vaccination progresses. It will very likely only be a few months.

It is interesting that employees are required to put on a face mask regardless of vaccination. It is also exciting that the staff is not obliged to request proof of vaccination from the customer.
