Apple Watch Series 5: with sleep monitoring?
With each new generation, the Apple Watch gets new health features. What the watch can't yet do is sleep monitoring. That could be with the Apple Watch Series 5 are coming.
9to5Mac learned from an Apple internal source that they are working on a sleep monitor for the Apple Watch. This ProProject is codenamed "Burrito" and will eventually be called "Time in Bed Recording" (literally translated). We'll likely see the feature first in the upcoming Apple Watch Series 5. According to the source, no special technology is required for the recording, which means that older models can also get sleep tracking.

Many will probably be wondering what if you want to charge the Apple Watch overnight. Well, Apple thought of that. With the new feature, you should get a notification before your preferred bedtime that you should still charge the watch. If you have several of the clocks with the apple logo for whatever reason, you can also choose which sleep clock is your preferred when setting up for the first time.
All data that the Apple Watch collects over the night is processed in the health and a new sleep app. By “data” I mean the quality of sleep, which the smartwatch evaluates based on the parameters of the various sensors. If you wake up before the set alarm time, the watch automatically deactivates the alarm. This can optionally also start without sound - i.e. only with vibration.
On September 10th, the annual iPhone event will take place in the Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino, where Apple will unveil new smartphones, Apple Watch Series 5 and the final versions of iOS 13, iPadOS 13, watchOS 6 and macOS 10.15. Then we will probably learn more about sleep monitoring.
