In September, Apple will introduce the Apple Watch Series 6. This should probably come with a measurement of the oxygen content in the blood.
Every year Apple introduces a new Apple Watch with at least one new health feature. Now the question is, of course, what kind of function the manufacturer is coming up with this year. Well, a piece of iOS 14 code reveals that the Apple Watch Series 6 could come with a function for measuring the oxygen content in the blood.
The code suggests that a notification will be sent as soon as the oxygen level falls below a certain level. A level below 80 Prozent can lead to restricted brain and heart ability. Apple has already implemented such security mechanisms in the past, which alert the user when certain vital signs could lead to a health risk.
Furthermore, Apple is currently working on improvements to the EKG function and a new one Sleep record. It is believed that the new watch will be presented to the media in September at the mandatory iPhone keynote.
