Earlier this week, the Chinese manufacturer introduced its first folding smartphone, the Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold, officially before. Xiaomi has only announced a market launch in China so far. It is still unclear whether the smartphone will ever find its way to Europe. Nevertheless, there is a way how you can buy the Mix Fold in this country.
The new Mi Mix Fold is not only the first foldable from Xiaomi, but also the first smartphone with a so-called liquid lens. This camera can change its shape and focal length. The built-in 3x telephoto lens can also be used as a macro camera at the same time.

The Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold is already being listed by the first dealers. This is how the online shop offers TradingShenzhen and the CECT shop the fold is already up for sale. The smallest memory version with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage costs 1.497 or 1.999 euros, depending on the shop. For double storage, customers have to spend 200 or 300 euros more. The largest version with a full 16 GB of RAM costs 1.897 euros at TradingShenzhen and 2.999 euros at the CECT shop. Unfortunately, there is only one color variant to choose from with black. Since this is a Chinese smartphone, unfortunately only English and Chinese can be selected as the system language.
