Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold: display and Proprocessor
As a Proprocessor uses Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 888, which is a must for a flagship. A 512 gigabyte UFS3.1 memory module is used as internal memory, and 16 gigabytes of LPDDR5 RAM are installed as RAM. The inner 8,01 inch (approx. 20 cm) display has a WQHD+ resolution, it is like Mi 11 Ultra and Oppo Find X3 Pro a 10-bit display. This can represent over a billion colors. It is HDR10+ certified and is 387 ppi sharp. However, it cannot display 90Hz, only 60Hz. The second display (on the front) is 6.52″ and can display up to 90Hz.
Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold: cameras
The main camera is a 108 megapixel "liquid camera", which is supposed to provide very good photos. The second camera is a 13 megapixel ultra wide angle camera, which has a 123 degree field of view. The third camera is an 8 megapixel sensor, which can zoom up to 30x and also take macro photos. Xiaomi's in-house "Surge C1" sensor is used as the image signal sensor.
Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold: speakers
The device has four loudspeakers, which were manufactured in cooperation with Samsung's loudspeaker company "Harman Kardon".
Software
The software used is Xiaomi's MIUI 12, based on Android 11 from Google. However, the software has been adapted for the Mi MIX Fold to better enable multitasking. In addition, like Samsung, Xiaomi has built a desktop mode that is specially adapted to the device.
Battery and price
The battery is 5020 mAh and is charged with 67W via cable or wireless.
The Mi Mix Fold is only available on the Chinese market for the equivalent of 1300 euros with 16 GB of RAM (LPDDR5) and 512 gigabytes of memory (UFS 3.1).
