Disney +: offer, platforms, prices and availability at a glance
From November, Disney wants to compete with the giants Netflix and Amazon Prime with its streaming service Disney +. Now new information has been revealed about the upcoming streaming service.
It was already known that the streaming service will start in the USA and Canada on November 12th. Now Disney has also confirmed that the service will also start in Europe on the same day. Unfortunately only in the Netherlands. New Zealand and Australia will follow on November 19. There is no date for Germany, Austria or Switzerland yet. Disney already announced in April of this year that Disney + should appear in Germany by March 2020. The service should be available in all major markets no later than two years after the launch on November 12th.

The Verge and other online magazines, the platforms on which Disney + runs are already known:

Among other things, the Amazon Fire TV series is missing. It is questionable whether Amazon and the media company will come to an agreement before the release.
What is Disney + exactly?
Disney's streaming service is set to be a family-friendly service and includes Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and National Geografic films and series, among others. All Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars films will be exclusively available there after their release in the cinemas.
Exclusive documentaries (behind the scenes) and series are probably already being planned. For example a new season of "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" and a Muppet series. All 30 Simpson seasons will also be available at launch. A total of 500 films and 7500 episodes should be available at the start.
That will cost the streaming service
A price has already been revealed for the streaming service – this will not be 10 euros like most of the competitors pro month, but 6,99 euros a month or 69,99 euros a year.
