To Article 13 or Article 17 and the associated upload filters, the EU has now planned the next filter. In the future, this should only allow more computer-savvy users to access the Internet. ProVider now fear a user decline of up to 30 Procent.

The love of filters in the EU Parliament just doesn't stop there. Computer expert Axel Voss presented a new draft to the EU Parliament today. So, together with Article 13, one would also like to introduce a person filter on the Internet. In the future, web browsers should only allow users with a computer driver's license to access the Internet.

User drop by up to 30 Proexpected on the internet

Some German internet operators, as well Provider in Austria now fear a user decline of up to 30 Procent. The reason: very many users of the Internet do not have a computer driver's license. It would no longer be worthwhile for hundreds of thousands of users to have their own Internet connection. As with Article 13, the companies behind Internet browsers would be liable if an unwitting user were allowed to access the Internet, as in today's draft here is to be read.

Politicians complain about the Internetprotrouble in Parliament

In the EU Parliament, this filter has already been turned off in cooperation with Mozilla, the developers behind Firefoxprobeers. This test run should show that this would be very easy to implement. However, there was an incident in which three quarters of the politicians present were no longer able to access the Internet. According to statements by a parliamentary spokesman, there was an error in the network, which meant that the Internet could not be accessed. According to current statements, however, experts are assuming that the politicians concerned would probably not themselves be entitled to steer a computer.

That would be through a corresponding computer driving license Proproblem done. For this reason, this should be mandatory for all EU citizens from 2021. If you do not have this, you will no longer be able to register for an Internet connection in the future. Affected politicians can catch up on this, provided it is not really on the Internetproproblem lay.
