Extension brings Windows 10 timeline feature to the Chrome browser
With Windows 10 1803 Microsoft introduced the timeline. Thanks to this, you can continue working on other PCs where you left off on one. An extension from Microsoft brings this feature to the Chrome browser.
The timeline in Windows 10 is actually pretty simple. All apps and documents you work with are listed there. This status then synchronizes with other Windows 10 devices on which you are logged in with your Microsoft account, so that you can see directly where you left off on one PC. Unfortunately, it does not save which Chrome tabs were last opened. A new extension from Microsoft is supposed to provide a remedy here.
Enlargement can do that
The extension is called "Web Activities" and is available for download from the Chrome Web Store. There is no version for Firefox at the time. Once you've downloaded the extension, all you have to do is log in with your Microsoft account. Then all activities are sent to Microsoft and displayed in the timeline. Simple but effective.
