Facebook keeps copying something from Snapchat. Now, for the first time, the features are being fed directly into the Facebook app.

The unknown feature is only available in Ireland for the time being. The feature becomes noticeable through a new symbol in the form of a camera, which is located in the upper left corner. The following function has also been copied from Snapchat, as the camera symbol takes you to an editor.

Editor adds effects

In the editor you can now decorate photos and videos with filters, masks and other effects that you also know from Snapchat. There is also a similar prism filter that makes images look like creations you have painted yourself. After recording, all photos and videos can be published as normal post or sent to user groups with your friends using a new feature called "Direct". Photos can also be commented on there.

Best before date also inserted by Snapchat

The photos that were sent now have an expiration date of 24 hours. How do we know that? Right, Snapchat! If you have opened the photo, you can only reopen it within 24 hours. If there are no further comments or reactions to the recordings, the recordings themselves will disappear.

Facebook could do a lot of harm to Snapchat

All of these features were the features that made Snapchat really successful. The network could lose a lot of users who would then switch back to Facebook.
