Fitbit Inspire (HR) presented: The fitness tracker with no frills

In addition to the Versa Lite Edition Fitbit presented the Fitbit Inspire (HR) yesterday. You can find out what the two trackers can do here.

We actually already know both models from the past. However, they were only intended for health organizations, not for normal consumers. That changed now.

The Inspire and the Inspire HR are quite ordinary fitness trackers that accompany you through everyday life and are supposed to record fitness data. The bracelets for the former ProThe duct comes in black and purple, while Fitbit offers black, lavender, and black-and-white wristbands for the Inspire HR.

That’s in it

The biggest difference between the two new releases is that the more expensive HR version has a heart rate sensor, while the regular version has to do without one. This sensor records your own heart rate 24/7. It also helps to record the phases of sleep.

A major disadvantage of the normal Inspire is that no distances can be recorded. Not even with the help of the smartphone's GPS. On the other hand, it is positive that both devices have a battery life of five days and a touch display.

Prices and availability

The Fitbit Inspire costs 80 euros at Fitbit, while the HR edition costs 100 euros. Both models can be pre-ordered now, and the gadgets should be ready for shipping in a week.
