Google is gradually equipping all apps with a dark mode. Google Fit is now getting this too.

The new dark mode for Google Fit should arrive with version 2.16.22, reports Android Police. With this version, the “Design” item appears in the app settings, where you can manually choose between the individual modes - light and dark. Alternatively, Google built in a third option with which the dark mode is only activated when the energy-saving mode is running. With the Android-Q-Beta, the interface even adapts based on the system-wide dark mode.

With the new dark mode, the entire user interface is colored a dark gray. Google already used a similar tone for other services, such as the Google Calendar. Unfortunately, this is not pure black, as we know it from other apps such as Pocket Casts. Even the widgets for the home screen change from light to dark. The new dark mode is now available with version 2.16.22 via the Google Play Store.
