Huawei P40: 4G version presented for the Chinese market
Our editor published it just a few days ago Yinan seinen Long-term test for the Huawei P40 5G. The smartphone was able to convince him across the board, especially for the current low price of around 400 euros. Now Huawei officially presented a 4G version of the P40.
When it comes to equipment, there are up to the built-in Proprocessor no differences to the 5G variant. Here, too, a 6,1-inch OLED panel dominates, the battery is the same size at 3.800 mAh and there are no differences in the cameras either: 50 megapixel main camera, 16 megapixel ultra wide-angle camera and an 8 megapixel telephoto lens that has a triple optical zoom enabled. Only at Proprocessor, there are slight differences, because while the 5G version uses the Kirin 990 5G, the 40G version of the in-house Kirin 4 works in the Huawei P4 990G.
The smartphone was initially only presented for the Chinese market and will probably not appear in Europe. Converted it costs around 510 euros, which makes it almost 60 euros cheaper than the 5G version.
