IFA 2017: We saw that from Fitbit
Fitbit was this year with two brand new Proproducts at the technology fair in Berlin. They had the Fitbit Ionic sports smartwatch with them, which was developed with the knowledge they had bought from Pebble. And then the Fitbit Flyer, a Bluetooth headset that is also intended for sports. The devices can do that.

Fitbit Ionic: competitor to Watch OS and Android Wear?
In terms of design and weight, the Fitbit Ionic should be positioned exactly between an Apple Watch and a typical Android Wear watch. On the one hand we have the angular display from the Apple Watch, on the other hand the watch should be as heavy as an Android watch. The Ionic is made of aluminum and is waterproof up to 50 meters. Fitbit's own creations are available as wristbands.
Operating system
Fitbit OS with a pre-installed sports coach is used as the operating system. This is an OS with an open developer platform for app developers. Fitbit copied this system from Pebble. Fitness features have also been incorporated into the operating systemprogrammed.
Specs
Fitbit has built in 2,5GB of internal memory for its own music. Then Bluetooth, NFC, WLAN and GPS were installed. The Ionic's battery should last up to four days, depending on usage. With NFC you can even use the integrated Fitbit Pay.
The Fitbit Ionic will go on sale in October at an RRP of € 349.
Fitbit Flyer: Worthy Accessories?
The Fitbit Flyers are the company's first headphones. You can connect to any smartphone and the Ionic via Bluetooth. The two earbuds are connected by a cable with a control element. They also come with ANC, which I imagine a bit impractical when doing sports.
The Fitbit Flyer will appear on the market together with the Fitbit Ionic in October with an RRP of € 129.
