iTunes and Airplay 2 on Samsung TVs from spring 2019
Samsung is doing common cause with (wonder) Apple. From next spring there will be an iTunes app on the company's TVs. There is also support for Airplay 2. All details.
This iTunes app and Airplay 2 support will be available from spring on all TVs from Samsung's lineup for 2019. Samsung announced this today in our own newsroom on. Television sets from last year are supplied with the two services via software updates. Films and series can then be bought and watched in more than 100 countries via iTunes. Of course you also have access to the already existing library. Even 4K content in HDR should be proplay back seamlessly.
Media control with Airplay 2
Airplay 2 support is said to be available for Samsung TVs in over 190 different countries. This will not only make it possible to stream films and series on the television, but also music, photos and podcasts.
