AI technology from OPPO receives various awards
AI (Artificial Intelligence) is not for OPPO Foreign word more. The manufacturer has been heavily involved in the development of AIs for its own ecosystem for several years. This work is now paying off because they were presented at this year's CVPR (Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition Conference) honored with a total of 12 awards for special achievements in the field of AI.
For this, of course, OPPO had to master various challenges.

“Multi-Agent Behavior” challenge
This challenge deals with the competence of an AI model, e.g. to understand and define complex interactions between different intelligent actors - such as humans or animals.
OPPO's AI should understand people
Under the manufacturer's motto “Technology for Mankind, Kindness for the World”, the human being is of course the focus of an AI. That should always be the main focus so that we are not overtaken by artificial intelligence at some point.
OPPO wants the AI to understand people or users.
They proved this, for example, with the award for their 3D face models, which were based on 2D photos with a very low error deviation.
OPPO's current self-developed face recognition algorithm identifies 30 times pro second approx. 635 key characteristics of the user. This offers a very high level of security, although no IR sensors are used.
OPPO's AI should understand space and time
OPPO's AI technologies can detect various activities in space and time. As an example of the last challenge there was a "SoccerNet-Challenge" based on soccer. This challenge is about the AI being able to recognize and evaluate various key points, such as offside or red cards as well as other actions, using a soccer video.
What's the future like?
Since I am of course very interested in how OPPO's AI career will continue, I will of course keep you up to date. Now it's your turn, what do you think? What does the future of AI look like in our everyday life? Many already use voice assistants in everyday life, such as Google or Alexa. What do you think?
