LG also presented smartphones at MWC 2019, three in number. That's what the LG G8 ThinQ, LG G8s and LG V50 ThinQ can do.

LG G8 ThinQ and LG G8s

The LG G8 ThinQ looks almost exactly like its predecessor - Gorilla Glass 6 on the front and back, held together by a metal frame. There's also a headphone jack with a HiFi DAC, just like BoomBox Sound, which uses surfaces as resonators when listening to music. There is now a new camera in the notch - a time-of-flight camera that can create 3D images of all sorts of things. This allows for some cool things. Those things include face recognition, hand ID, and some sort of gesture control. With Hand ID, an image of your own hand is simply created with which the G8 ThinQ can be unlocked. Gesture control also works with the hand, and various movements can be used to create screenshots or control music playback - just to name two examples. A few specs: The Proprocessor inside is the Snapdragon 855 with six gigabytes of RAM and 128 gigabytes of storage. There is also Android Pie and a battery that holds 3500mAh. LG has not yet given a date for the market launch and a price.

The three cameras on the back of the G8s have a slightly different resolution. Instead of 16 megapixels (wide angle), 12 megapixels (standard) and 12 megapixels (telephoto) there are 13 megapixels (wide angle), 12 megapixels (standard) and 12 megapixels (telephoto).

LG V50 ThinQ 5G

In the V50 ThinQ, the Snapdragon 855 works with six gigabytes of RAM and 128 gigabytes of storage. Android 9.0 Pie is available for operating the smartphone. This takes place via the 6,1-inch display, which has a QHD resolution. The special feature of the LG V50 ThinQ 5G is an optionally available cover that has a second touchscreen. The image signal is transmitted via pins on the back of the smartphone. LG then installed a triple camera on the back. The resolutions: 16 megapixels (wide angle), 12 megapixels (standard) and 12 megapixels (telephoto).

LG has not yet announced any prices or a release date for the V50 ThinQ.
