Netflix: Streaming provider is experimenting with new prices again

Netflix is testing new prices for the individual subscriptions again. The provider has raised all prices by two euros.

iFunia writes that Netflix once again changed the prices for the various streaming subscriptions. All monthly plans are now two euros more expensive. “Basic” costs 7,99 euros instead of 9,99 euros, “Standard” costs 13,99 euros instead of 11,99 euros and “Premium” costs 17,99 euros instead of 15,99 euros. Whether the new monthly amounts only appear for new customers is not stated in the article - but I strongly assume.

Attachment: The prices that appear on the subscription page seem to vary from browser to browser. The old prices mentioned are those that appear when I want to change plans on my account page. If I open the subscription page without being logged in with my Netflix account, the same prices appear as ifun (see screenshot).

Are these the new prices for good?

Now many will certainly wonder whether these prices will always remain the same from now on. And no, it probably won't. Netflix often tests (higher) prices for the individual monthly subscriptions, which are usually only valid for a short time. And that's probably the case this time too. Ifun received this statement on request from Netflix regarding the new prices:

We regularly test new things on Netflix, and these tests typically vary in length. In this case, we're testing slightly different price ranges to better understand how consumers are viewing Netflix. Not everyone will see this review and we may never offer the specific price points of this review.
