New Microsoft browser Edge currently only planned for Windows 10

With the new Windows operating system, there will also be a new browser: Microsoft Edge. But it has now been announced that this new browser will initially only be available for the new upcoming Windows 10 operating system.

Granted, it's a bit strange that Microsoft Edge (formerly called Project Spartan) will only be available for Windows 10 for the time being, so Michael Gilett on Twitter. Namely, companies that work with Windows 7 could but not update for free do not want to use the browser. Because the browser is currently only being developed for Windows 10. With the new browser, Microsoft wants to clearly stand out from the previous browser, Internet Explorer.

With new features such as voice search assistant Cortana, marking websites, and writing notes on websites, the new browser is sure to be an exciting project. The new browser should also allow you to surf the Internet even faster than with Internet Explorer. It remains to be seen how popular the browser will really be in the future and whether many users will use it in the future. Google Chrome is one of the most popular browsers in the world, along with Mozilla Firefox and Safari. But who knows? Maybe the new Microsoft browser won't be so bad after all?
