Windows 10 for everyone

Some time ago Microsoft announced that all Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 8.1 users would get the free update to Windows 10. Now the update should also be available for those who have installed a pirated Windows copy.
Despite the upgrade option, the license status of Windows 10 does not change, as Microsoft made clear in a subsequent statement. Anyone using a pirated copy of the operating system will still have an illegal, unlicensed version even after the upgrade. Because by the end of the year, the group wants to win a proud 500 million Windows 10 users.
Microsoft is against the pirated software from China
With this unexpected step, Microsoft wants to hit the piracy scene in China, where studies show that 75 percent of all PCs are running illegal copies of Windows. The free option is intended to involve previously illegal users in the "legal" process.
Important: The offer is valid for one year after the release of Windows 10. After this period, you have to pay normally for the new operating system. There is no price for Windows 10 yet.
