Nintendo Switch: multi-touch display is expected

The Nintendo Switch is said to have a multi-touch display, making it the first Nintendo console to have this type of display.

Other displays such as those from Nintendo 3DS or Wii U only respond to pressure and only support single-touch. That would be something new again that every gamer could enjoy.

Nintendo doesn't say a single word about the Nintendo Switch

Even if there was a video for the new Nintendo Switch, the multi-touch display was not presented there. One possible explanation could be that this is far too complex to explain. The question arises: How can various inputs be entered via the touchscreen when the controller is not on the display. The Nintendo Switch multitouch display could be really something nice.

A live stream to the Nintendo Switch is planned

According to a tweet from “Nintendo of America”, a Nintendo event will be broadcast via livestream in mid-January, at which one would like to talk about the release date of the Nintendo Switch and of course about future games of the console.
