Notion 2.6: New version is distributed

Notion distributes major updates for its own app at regular intervals. Now Notion 2.6 is being distributed, which among other things has an improved export menu.

As mentioned in the introduction, Notion 2.6 comes with an improved export menu. Up until now, pages could only really be exported as Markdown or CSV files. You only got a PDF if you printed a page. In version 2.6 there is now a completely new export dialog where pages can be exported as PDF, CSV, Markdown or even as HTML files. This is now also possible with databases. The option to print directly as PDF disappeared. You can see what that looks like on the post image of the article.

Notion 2.6: "Call out" module, Google Drive and more

Another innovation is the so-called “call out” module. As the name suggests, this is there to point out something. You can also add your own emoji to the message. Third, the integration with Google Drive has been improved. Until a few days ago, you could only include a link to embed a file. It is now possible to search the entire drive from Notion. A rather smaller new feature is that with Notion 2.6 you can attach comments directly in code blocks. And last but not least: Notion released a web clipper for Google Chrome some time ago. Version 2.6 of this is also available in the Firefox store.
