Pro Stand for $999: Apple has negative videos about monitor stands deleted

This week one has on the WWDC 2019 introduced the Apple Pro Stand. This is a stand for a monitor - for $999. Now Apple is deleting negative videos about the public's murmuring about the price being too high.

In addition to a new MacPro, a monitor was also introduced as new hardware. The ProDisplay XDR, which is supposed to offer 6K resolution and a special color display, costs $4999. But that's not all: the stand to set up the monitor costs another $999. The audience on site didn't like that very much - a clear murmur could be heard.

Who The Register As reported, some people took the reaction - which was probably not expected by Apple - as an opportunity to publish edited videos on YouTube and Twitter. The volume of the murmuring on site was turned up or the reaction that was about to happen was marked accordingly. Some creative people also added laughter to videos at the Apple Pro stand. It seems that Apple didn't like that very much - the videos in question have now been deleted.

A copyright conflict was given as the reason. However, some clips are available again after objections from the creators. So far, Apple and YouTube have not commented on this topic.
