Even before the IFA in Berlin, Philips has new lamps in the Hue range. Now even the garden can be equipped with special light strips. An overview of the new features.

Hue Play and Hue Signe are the first

First, the company showed the Philips Hue Play and the Philips Hue Signe. The Hue Play is a light bar. This should proeasily set up behind the television, behind PC monitors and on various pieces of furniture. The Philips Hue Signe, on the other hand, is a stylish floor lamp. It comes in two different sizes - a smaller version and a larger version.

Both lights can emit white and colored light. They can also be connected to Hue Sync. This is an app for Windows and macOS. After a successful connection, the lamps are synchronized with the game and media content from the PC or Mac. Then the colors that are displayed on the screen are reproduced via the coupled lamps. This is similar to Ambilight systems on televisions.

Lamps for the wall

Then two lights were shown that are intended to be attached to the wall. These two models are called Hue Sana and Hue Liane. Sana has a circular shape and liana is elongated. Accordingly, the light is also emitted. Both models can shine white and colored.

Now also hanging lamps in the range

Another new model in the Philips range is the Hue Aurelle. This is a panel light that can only emit white light. From September this model will be available in four different sizes. The prices range from € 135 to € 200.

Then from now on there is the Hue Ensis. This is one of two new hanging lamps. Ensis can shine white and colorful. Due to its elongated shape, this model is particularly suitable for long tables. Hue Ensis will be available from September at a price of € 400.

The second new hanging lamp is called Hue Flourish. This lamp is round and has a matt glass shade. Only white light can be emitted here. The Hue Flourish will be available from October at a starting price of € 130.

The whole house with Hue - also in the bathroom and in the garden

Philips introduced lighting for the bathroom mirror back in July. This is now available with the Hue Adore lamps. These include light spots in different versions, a ceiling and a wall lamp. The prices here range from € 80 to € 250.

Now only the garden is unlit. But Philips now also has a solution in its range: the light hose called Hue Outdoor Lightstrip. This model is flexible, which is why it should be very flexible in use. In addition, it can be attached up to a meter under water, as the Hue Outdoor Lightstrip is protected against water and dust according to IP67. The Lightstrip will be available from October. The model with a length of two meters costs € 90, the model with a length of five meters costs € 160.
