Pixel 2 (XL): Google stopped selling

Even if that Pixel 3 (xl) is the current top smartphone from Google, the predecessor, the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL, never hide from the newer devices. Even so, Google stopped selling.

As of this morning, the Google Pixel 2 and 2 XL can no longer be found in the company's store. If you enter the URL for the former smartphone page, you will be redirected to that of the current generation from now on. However, buyers are not left in the lurch: The original protective cases are still offered for both devices. Even if both phones are still pretty good companions in everyday life, you have to consider that the first pixels were also taken off the market around this time last year. It also makes sense that Google wants to put the spotlight on the latest generation of their own mobile phones. These are now even supposed to be available at a lower price.
