Pokémon GO: Team leader and swap function in progress
Niantic boss John Hanke has now revealed that two new features are currently in the works for users. This includes the core feature of Pokémon - a swap function with which it is possible to swap your Pokémon with other users. In addition, each team should soon have its own team leader who should give the player some tips.
Not only are these two features in development, but also many more features and updates for Pokémon GO. Most of them were suggested by the users - currently only the two features are fixed, according to the Niantic boss. According to Niantic, however, the stable ones come first Server for Pokémon GO. In addition, the number of available Pokémon is to be gradually expanded from the current 151 to a total of 729.
Team leader for each team
The team leaders, which will soon be integrated into the game, are intended to give the user useful tips for his Pokémon hunt and for arena battles. Team Red represents Candela, Team Yellow is responsible for Spark and Team Blue will soon be supported by Blanche. Interesting feature - but no one knows exactly when it will be available.
Trade Pokémon with friends
One of the main features that has not yet made it into the app is the exchange of Pokémon between users. It should soon be possible to give the double Pokémon to your friend and get one back in return. An Easter egg has now also been confirmed by John Hanke, which consists of the fact that Eevee has to be named Pyro, Rainer or Sparky before development in order to transform it into a Flamara, Aquana or Blitza. Again, nobody knows when exactly the swap feature will be integrated into the app. this article shows you further features, which updates could await us in the future.

Hello dear technology news team,
today the first big update came out. I'm missing the small steps that show how far away a Pokemon is. This makes it even harder to catch a Pokemon and to conserve the data volume. I have already read tricks on a few pages on how to conserve the data volume (cf. http://easyhack.de/lifehacks/pokemon-go-du-kannst-ganz-einfach-datenvolumen-sparen/), but as soon as I move out of my downloaded area, the mobile volume disappears. Do you still have any tricks up your sleeve on how to see after the update in which direction the Pokemon are without running wild through the botany?
Hello Sven,
thanks for your comment.
I also miss the steps very much because then you knew roughly where a Pokémon was. According to Niantic, however, the feature should not have worked well, which is why it was removed. But I can't judge whether that's true or whether it was just removed to make the search more difficult.
I also know this trick with the offline map in Google Maps, but I have found that it saves data volume. Roughly how much data do you need? pro Hour for Pokemon GO? I need about 7-10 MB for an hour, personally I don't think that's too much.
Unfortunately, I don't know any trick so far, except to use the cheat app PokeDetector, which is no longer available in the PlayStore. Depending on the set interval, the app "scans" whether there is a Pokémon nearby and then suggests it. But be careful: it is essential to set up a second Google account, otherwise you could be put back at the beginning because of cheating!
Good tip with the CheatDetector. I'll definitely take a look. As a casual gamer, it is difficult to be in the right place at the right time. I don't use much more data either, but my volume is limited and I don't feel like topping up for an app. That's why I'm just looking for ways to save data. But maybe it is time to take a contract with more volume 🙂
In any case, thanks for the quick reply. I will stay true to you.
From various sources it is now said that the Detector should no longer work with the new version of Pokémon GO. You can tell me about your experiences with the PokeDetector - I would be interested.
Edit: The PokéSmesh app does the same thing and even still works.
We are very pleased 🙂
I find it interesting, but unfortunately no Pokémon Go works on my smartphone :/
