Realme introduced a new smartphone on March 24th, the Realme 8 Pro, officially before. For only 279 euros, customers get an OLED panel and a 108 megapixel quad camera, among other things.

The remaining technical data are largely similar to those of the predecessor, but the cameras in particular are said to have improved a lot. We now have everything you need to know about the new Realme 8 Pro summarized.

Realm 8 Pro: Technical specifications

The display has light and shadow at the same time. It is a high-quality Full HD + OLED panel, but it only supports a refresh rate of 60 Hertz. There a Redmi Note 10 Pro is equipped with a 120 Hertz OLED display for the same price, 60 Hertz is in the Realme 8 Pro rather sobering. Under the hood is the Snapdragon 720G from Qualcomm, which we already know from the previous model and the Galaxy A52 know. Depending on the version, there is also 6 or 8 gigabytes of RAM and 128 gigabytes of internal memory. The latter can be accessed via a micro SD card probe easily expanded.

The in-house Realme UI, based on Android 11, is used as the software. A 4.500 mAh battery should ensure long runtimes, which, thanks to the 50 watt SuperDart Charge, can be charged up to 17 in 50 minutes Procent loaded. The smartphone can be unlocked via the fingerprint sensor integrated into the display. There is also a jack connector on the underside. Stereo speakers are what you look for in the Realme 8 Pro unfortunately in vain.

The Chinese manufacturer has installed a quad camera on the back, which is supposed to be a significant upgrade compared to its predecessor. The main sensor comes from Samsung, has a resolution of 108 megapixels and, thanks to its enormous size of 1 / 1.52 inches, can absorb a lot of light. The aperture is f / 1.89. Furthermore, there is an ultra-wide-angle camera with 8 megapixels on board, which is used in almost all mid-range smartphones. The setup is supplemented by two additional sensors, each with 2 megapixels, which are used for macro shots and depth effects. The front camera on the front sits in a small recess in the display and has a resolution of 16 megapixels.
