Samsung Galaxy M12: First pictures and technical data surfaced
In the past, Samsung's smartphones in the affordable Galaxy M series have been characterized primarily by their low, fair prices and their excellent battery life. Now the first information about another device of the M series, which is supposed to be launched as the Samsung Galaxy M12, recently appeared.
According to the first information from the well-known and serious leaker OnLeaks, Samsung should consistently continue the path of cheap smartphones with good battery life. The M12 is said to be cheaper than the newly introduced A42 5G.
Samsung Galaxy M12: design
The design of the back looks very interesting according to the renders. Samsung is said to rely on a plastic case, which for the most part has a corrugated texture. The lower third, on the other hand, should be glossy and thus probably more susceptible to fingerprints. The camera layout, which is supposed to contain 4 sensors, also appears conspicuous, for which there are unfortunately no further details at the moment.
The front, on the other hand, should be rather unspectacular. In the pictures there is a small notch in the display, similar to the one Huawei P30 Proto see. The display bezels look a bit thicker than on many other smartphones, but that's still okay. The fingerprint sensor should be on the right side.
Samsung Galaxy M12: the first details
The flat display should have a diagonal of 6,5 inches. Unfortunately, it is not yet clear whether this is an AMOLED or IPS panel. Since the fingerprint sensor is not supposed to be in the display, one can probably assume an IPS panel. The device dimensions of the M12 should be 163,9 x 75,9 x 8,9 mm, i.e. a rather thick smartphone, which means that you can again assume a very large battery. As already mentioned, Samsung is supposed to install a quad camera, for which there is no further information either.
According to OnLeaks, the Samsung Galaxy M12 will be presented in early 2021 at a relatively low price.
