Snapchat update improves FaceSwap

Since the beginning of 2016, it has been possible to swap faces between two people on Snapchat. Now there was an update, where you can now select the second face directly from the gallery and thus the impractical "both-in-front-of-the-camera" becomes obsolete.

Now it is finally possible to select a face from the gallery and swap faces with it directly. All you have to do is switch to the indoor camera, click a little longer on your own face and select the icon with the small camera next to a face from the filters that appear. A list of faces from the gallery is displayed, which you can swipe through - by the way, Snapchat recognizes this completely automatically.

While we were testing this feature, it did not work very well, as some faces often did not fit exactly on the face to be replaced. The normal FaceSwap function (symbol with the two faces) works, in our opinion, much better at the moment.

Snapchat Update: Snaps can now be repeated once for free

With this update, Snapchat brings another innovation, with which you can repeat received snaps once for free. Snaps could be repeated in the past, but you had to pay for repetitions - since the update, it is no longer possible to buy repetitions. However, a snap can only be repeated within a few minutes. So far, these changes only affect iOS users - it is not known when the update will be available in the PlayStore.
