On IFA 2018 asked Sony that Xperia XZ3 before, which editor-in-chief David Wurm was quite enthusiastic about. Now there are leaks about a successor, the Xperia XZ4.

This year, Sony will probably present two top smartphones again. Among them the Xperia XZ4, which will probably be shown at the MWC in Barcelona in February. Now there are leaks to the display of the device. mobiFlip was here on one Tweet of the Leaker Ice Universe attentive by including a YouTube video. This shows the Sony Xperia XZ4 with a presumed 21: 9 display. This would make Sony the first manufacturer to install a touchscreen in this format in a smartphone. There is no information about the size of the display in the video. It's probably just over six inches tall, though.

A triple camera in a Sony smartphone for the first time?

In a further article from mobiFlip There are several render images for the upcoming Sony flagship that show a triple camera on the back of the smartphone. The Xperia XZ4 would then be the first Sony smartphone with one. At least one sensor will likely have a 19 megapixel resolution. What Sony could do with the other two sensors remains open. On the renders, it is also noticeable that the manufacturer is not relying on a display trend (notch or hole in the display) and that there is now a fingerprint sensor on the side in the power button.
