Spotify on the iPhone: AirPlay 2 should now still be supported

Recently there was a little debacle that Spotify could not provide AirPlay 2 support, even though it was promised beforehand. Now the service rowed back here.
But how did it all come about? First, Spotify announced that the iPhone and iPad app would support AirPlay 2 to a greater extent in the future. In a somewhat more recent forum post, however, it was announced that the project was not that simple on a technical level. You will not be able to accomplish this task in the foreseeable future.
However, it seems that the streaming service was not clearly expressed. In one Community post one clarified these statements now namely.
Spotify with AirPlay 2: period still unknown
It was written that AirPlay 2 would eventually move into the app. But that was it again. It is not known in what time frame the matter should go through. The user has to be satisfied with the words “We will inform you when there is news”.
The service for streaming music has never been the fastest when it comes to adapting Apple-specific features. I therefore expect that it will look similar this time.
