Spotify will be preinstalled on new Samsung smartphones in the future
Samsung and Spotify have done things together in the past. The music streaming service has recently been preinstalled on new Samsung smartphones.
For some time now, Spotify has been working increasingly with Samsung. The streaming service was launched on the Gear Sport pre-installed. You could also download playlists to the smartwatch. A feature that was exclusively reserved for Samsung. The latest prank by both companies is the pre-installation of Spotify on new Samsung smartphones. The whole thing starts with the Galaxy S10, S10e and S10 Plus. The app will also be installed by default on the Galaxy Fold and future A-series devices.
Six months free
Whether you view Spotify as annoying bloatware or not is up to you. But it wouldn't bother me because I've been a long-time user of the service. In addition, with some Galaxy S10 devices you get six months of Spotify Premium for free. As it stands, however, this is only the case in the United States. Furthermore, Samsung wants to better connect Bixby with the streaming giant in the future, so that you can start your music more easily.
