Surface Book 2: Microsoft offers model with newer processor

The Surface Book 2, which was introduced some time ago, currently has seventh-generation Intel processors. Yesterday, Microsoft placed a model with an eighth-generation chip in the store.
An updated 13-inch model of the Surface Book 2 is listed. This now has an eighth-generation Intel Core i5-8350U quad-core processor. This achieves a maximum clock frequency of 3,6 gigahertz in Turbo Boost. There is also a 256-gigabyte SSD and eight gigabytes of RAM. Microsoft is asking 1.749 euros for all this fun. The model with the older processor is still available from Microsoft for 1.179 euros (instead of 1.349 euros). The jump from dual-core to quad-core in particular should ensure a big increase in performance.
